Low Light Tracking in Bland Spaces

Hey All,

We had a project in a pretty neutral / black area, where we wanted to use a dim-light setup. However, we soon noticed that tracking was so bad in that situation that we had to increase lighting a lot, and add more objects to the space for the device to create a stable tracking solution.

Has anyone tried / can @nreal-dev enlighten me whether there is a good option for improving tracking in such difficult situation?

We discussed using an IR Dot Projector, however time-restraints forced us to increase lighting in the space instead, so we were not able to test whether that would help at all.
We also discussed using external tracking solutions (SteamVR for example) however, we want our solution to still be mobile, and usable in spaces and when used with groups.

Any insight in this topic would be massively appreciated.
